From the experienced to the inexperienced paintball enthusiast Skirmish Paintball has the course and the game to hone your warfare skills. When you are in the Pocono Mountains you must not miss the place even if you have never played paintball before.
Skirmish encompasses over 700 acres of woodland and open area. It has over 50 playing fields complete with castles and cities, crashed helicopters and forts and tanks to give you cover and use as your base of operations during your extreme war play.
The playing fields have names like The Shadowlands and Sherwood Forest. The Heart of Darkness is a damp jungle setting that will test your endurance and skill at stealth. There are many fields to choose from for the beginner also. You can even build your own tank to use, following the rules. Put your team inside one or attack one. If you cannot build your own tank you can rent one for the day for only $7.
There are many ways to play paintball but some of the more popular are: Two Flag, where you capture your opponents’ flag and bring it back to your own flagpole, and Attack and Defend, where you try to clear the opposing team from their defensive positions. You can also play Last Man Standing, where you completely eliminate the other team from the field by painting them with your weapon.
You can get all the gear you’ll need at the Skirmish Pro Shop for rent or for sale, from Weapons to armor, so don’t sweat it if you don’t have your own.
Skirmish Paintball is easy to get to from anywhere and finding a place to stay is easy and convenient. Hotels and motels for any budget are nearby and you can even rent a house within minutes from Skirmish Paintball.
